* We reserve the right to not refund card fees (transaction costs) in the case of cancellations or other situations where funds need to be reversed back to a credit card.
*If Riverbend Camp is unable to honour a reservation due to flooding, all payments made will be held as a credit towards a future booking. Please note that refunds are not available.
* Reservations/Deposits not paid within 24 hours will automatically be cancelled.
* We reserve the right not to refund bank costs upon cancellation for credit card bookings, as the bank does not credit the initial deduction costs.
* Please note that a medical certificate does not qualify for a last-minute cancellation refund. If we can fill your booking with another guest, we'll gladly issue a refund; however, if no replacement is found, the payment will be forfeited.
* Camp Rules:
* No smoking inside the tents/units.
* No loud music (respect your neighbour).
* No noise or music after 22h00.
* Keep the premises clean.
* No dumping of trash, including cigarette butts.
* Please make use of the built ablution available on site.
* No cleaning of fish in the sink.
* No disposing of fishing equipment in the river or on the grass (especially hooks, line and string).
* Do not leave boats unattended.
* Launching of boats at the owners own risk.
* Entering the property is at your own risk.
* Owners will not be held responsible for loss or theft.
* Pet owners will be held responsible for any damage caused by their pets.
* VERY important. Please do not operate any gas, butane, or charcoal stoves or appliances within your tent. This equipment uses up all the oxygen and releases poisonous gases that can lead to your death or that of a family member. These are only to be used in a well-ventilated area.
* We kindly advise using solar lights or battery-operated camp lights within your sleep tent, as this is the safer option to gas lights, which emit poisonous gases and can lead to your death.
* Fires will only be allowed at designated areas. This is a huge risk and safety hazard. This request is for your own safety and your neighbours. Thus, please consider your fellow guests.
* Not everyone is a happy camper. Should there be any requirements, or if you need assistance or if you are unhappy about anything, please approach us in a civilised manner, and we will gladly assist in making your stay as comfortable as possible. If you have bought new equipment and are not familiar with its operation, please ask for our assistance. We will gladly help.
Only small pets allowed on pre-approval from Management - No pets allowed in our Luxury Units.
Kindly obtain approval from Riverbend Camp upon making the reservation should you want to bring a small pet along.
A fee will be applicable per pet per night.
Pets are to be kept on a leash or in a cage.
Pets are NOT allowed to sleep on or in any of the furniture in the pre-pitched tents. Please bring their own beds with them.
Please keep your fellow campers in mind and make sure your pets do not cause a disturbance in the camping area.
Owners are responsible for cleaning up behind their pets.
Pet Owners are responsible for any damage caused by their pets. That includes urine on carpets in the glamping tents, as well as any other damage incurred by your pets.
Send us a picture of your pet, should you be unsure.

Riverbend Camp, owners and personnel will not be liable for any damages, loss or injury that results from the use of our facilities at Riverbend Camp. Facilities used and entering the premises are at own risk.
